And you're gonna see, when we pull that out, how dirty that is. Now, it hasn't been in there that long, but you're still gonna see how much a filter has to work to get some of that dirt and debris from getting anywhere in your engine and causing it harm. But that's why you wanna check that pretty frequently and swap these out. more

Hey, everybody. Welcome to etrailer.com I'm Bobby, and today we're taking a look at the PTC Custom Fit Engine Air Filter here on our 2019 RAM 1500 Classic. So, if you guys are looking for a way of just going ahead and making sure that your engine's getting that nice clean air that it needs, without any debris, this can be a really nice way of going ahead and doing so. So I go ahead and suggest, if you guys are about 10,000 to 15,000 miles in your vehicle and it hasn't been changed, might be the time to go ahead and check your filter. To do that, all we're gonna need to do, open up our hood just like so and start taking a look right here, and start popping it off. Let's go ahead and see how we can do that. more

How's it going everybody Rob here at etrailer.com. And today we're taking a look at the PTC custom fit engine air filter on our 2013 Ram 2500. Now I do want to start off by mentioning that our Ram 2500 has the Hemi 5.7 liter in it. So this air filter is made for the V8 gasoline engine.Checking and changing your filter and keeping it clean, making sure it's in working order is going to make sure that our truck gives us the best performance and fuel economy that we can get, because our filter is going to be filtering all the air going into the engine. So if it does become dirty or clogged, the airflow is not going to be able to get through. Again, robbing the engine of the power and economy that we want to get out of it. more

Hi there Ram owners. Today in your 2019 Ram 3500, we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install PTC's Replacement Air Filter.And here you can see our two filters side by side. We've got our original filter, which is covered with dirt, debris, insects, all kinds of stuff, and our new filter here is completely clean. So this is going to provide better air flow than what our original one did here, due to all this dirt. And I do like that it's got this small strip of glue here in the middle. What that does is it keeps our fins at specific distances so air can flow in between each vent easily. more
